The Rib
Maison Kargani tank tops use a 2 x 1 rib, where two knit stitches alternate with one purl stitch. The construction creates a vertical texture with natural elasticity, allowing the fabric to follow movement while maintaining definition. The rib is not decoration. It is the structure of the garment.
Weight You Can Feel
Maison Kargani tank tops are made from 435 GSM rib knit. The density gives the garment enough body to retain its shape while still moving naturally with the body. The objective was not heaviness. It was presence.
Cotton, with Exactly Enough Stretch
The composition is 98% cotton and 2% elastane. Cotton provides softness and breathability, while the small percentage of elastane allows the rib to stretch through movement and return towards its original shape. Too much stretch would change the character of the fabric. Too little would compromise recovery.
The Edge Reveals the Construction
The neckline and armholes are finished with a narrow self-fabric binding secured with tonal topstitching. The purpose is simple: the edge should sit cleanly against the body without dominating the garment. The best finishing often draws the least attention to itself.
The Fit
The silhouette is built around a refined scoop neckline, balanced armholes and a length designed to work both tucked and untucked. Each tank top is unisex and available from XS to XXL.
One Signature
Depending on the model, the chest carries an embroidered MK Monogram or a gold-tone metal MK Monogram. Nothing else is required. When fabric, fit and construction are doing their work, detail does not need to compete with them.
Made in Italy
Maison Kargani ribbed tank tops are made in Italy and produced in controlled quantities. Their apparent simplicity is the result of precise choices: the density of the rib, the balance of cotton and stretch, the width of the binding, the depth of the neckline and the position of the armhole.
Simplicity, Resolved
A tank top should appear effortless. But effortlessness and simplicity are not the same thing. The fewer elements a garment contains, the more precisely each one must be resolved. When fabric, weight, proportion and finish are correct, very little else is needed.
